Located in Al Ain, our broiler farm is designed to be both durable and sustainable, utilizing advanced technologies to optimize every aspect of poultry production.
At the hatchery, eggs from breeder birds are incubated under controlled conditions for 21 days until hatching. Chicks are born relatively mature and need heat and high humidity in their early weeks. Organic chicks follow the same initial procedures as conventional ones.
Day-old chicks are transported from hatchery to farm in special boxes and are often vaccinated during this process. The transportation must adhere to specific environmental conditions to minimize stress, as chicks are highly susceptible to temperature fluctuations.
To ensure their health, broiler chicks are vaccinated against various diseases due to their limited time to develop a mature immune system. Vaccinations can be administered via spray, drinking water, in-ovo, or injection.
Broiler chicks are placed in large, mixed-sex flocks in rearing sheds to allow the remaining birds more space to grow a thinning process is undertaken, decreasing their susceptibility to infections like Campylobacter.
When market weight is reached broilers are placed in transport crates and transported on specially shielded trucks to slaughterhouses. The processes of catching, crating, and transporting are all safe and done in humane way. Slaughter method used is 100% Halal.
